Collection: Clare Arbuthnott
Clare Arbuthnott RSW is a contemporary watercolour artist, now based in Edinburgh but originally from the Northeast of Scotland. Her work focuses on her native Scottish landscape, its coastlines, and Islands - particularly the island of Iona.
Clare is an elected member of The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour. She has exhibited widely throughout Scotland and with her mix of lively still life and floral paintings, and the stunning seascapes which she is so well known for, she remains a highly in-demand artist.
Her training was a mix of Cumbria College of Art & Design and Leith School of Art (tutor Paul Martin), as well as a History of Art Degree from Edinburgh University, before becoming a full-time artist.
Having been brought up in a family of artists, Clare’s natural path led her to working full-time on her art, and she has been tremendously successful.
We are thrilled to have regular featured shows with her work, and it’s always a privilege to show these jewel-like paintings.
