Collection: Gail Stirling Robertson

Gail is a self-employed artist who works primarily in acrylics. Her style is quirky and unusual, not only covering storybook style illustration, but reimagining ordinary landmarks and familiar places, and giving them a magical twist.

Where specific locations are featured, Gail uses photographs to help with initial placement, but will manipulate and change the structures to provide the most pleasing composition. This manipulation is not only helpful when hiding some of the less attractive features of a scene but allows her to enhance features which might normally be overlooked.

Gail's work is featured in a number of galleries across the country, but she has also completed private commissions for clients as far afield as Australia and the USA.
