Pamela Grace

Pamela Grace is a Scottish artist and printmaker living and working in Galloway, where the ever-changing landscape provides daily inspiration throughout the seasons. From dramatic coastlines and rolling hills to ancient woodlands and shifting light, the natural world is at the heart of her work.

Originally trained as a designer at the Scottish College of Textiles in Galashiels, Pamela's practice is rooted in drawing. Working across pen and ink wash, etching and lithography, she captures the character and atmosphere of the places she explores. Sketches and larger colour studies are often created on location before being developed further in the studio, where compositions evolve through mark-making, printmaking processes and experimentation.

Her original prints and drawings celebrate the beauty of the Scottish landscape, combining careful observation with expressive line and texture. Each piece reflects a deep connection to place, inviting viewers to experience the changing moods and quiet details of Galloway and beyond.
