New Artists highlights emerging and newly represented artists at the gallery. This rotating selection offers an opportunity to discover fresh perspectives and exciting contemporary work as our programme evolves.

Matt Rix is an emerging British folk artist whose paintings combine timeless charm with a distinctly contemporary sensibility. Inspired by animals, the natural world and a love of traditional art, his characterful works balance playful storytelling with quiet emotional depth. Working sustainably with reclaimed materials and repurposed frames, Rix creates paintings that have attracted collectors both in the UK and internationally.
