Alison Vincent hand-creates statement glass art inspired by her sailing and diving encounters in remote wild nature using hot furnace glass and dramatic techniques.

Alison combines 2,000-year-old techniques with her own self-described "unconventional" methods - part of her overall enjoyment.  Glass is shaped into unique sculptures, offering clarity, refraction and magnification. Alison often pushes the glass to it’s limits in terms of thick and thin sections making it very difficult to make but more rewarding for her as an artist.
