Collection: Hilary Gauci

Hilary is a rural Aberdeenshire–based artist celebrated for her exquisite still life paintings. Her work, primarily in oils on fine linen, captures the lustrous reflections of silver, pewter, and copper alongside fruit, cheese, nuts, and other carefully chosen objects. She also explores game birds, eggs, feathers, and antique books, creating compositions that balance precision with painterly vibrancy.

Influenced by the old Dutch masters and exceptional contemporary still life artists, Hilary has refined her practice into highly collectible small-scale “still life portraits.” Her work is regularly exhibited in selected galleries across the UK, including London, and continues to draw collectors who appreciate craftsmanship, depth, and timeless beauty.
