Elizabeth Barton

Elizabeth Barton’s ceramics are made in a stoneware clay. Elizabeth usually hand-builds using coils of clay or soft slabs, sometimes using press moulds.

Her interest lies in surface texture, decoration and use of colour, mainly achieved with underglazes and coloured slips.
