Collection: Gillian Murray

Born in Perth, Scotland, Gillian Murray studied Fine Art at Gray’s School of Art, graduating in 1993. She spent over two decades working with artists and teaching printmaking at Edinburgh Printmakers and is a professional member of the Society of Scottish Artists.

Inspired by her travels across Scotland and Europe, Gillian creates prints and watercolours that explore the textures, colours and forms of the natural world. Her work seeks to capture the atmosphere, serenity and fleeting beauty of the landscapes she encounters, preserving a sense of place and memory.
