About The Artist
Born in Athens and now based in Edinburgh, Constantine.. is a contemporary artist and author whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, performance, printmaking and public intervention.
Working outside the conventions of formal academic training, he has developed a distinctive visual language centred around a recurring self-figure that appears across interconnected bodies of work, exploring themes of mythology, identity and the human condition.
His paintings are characterised by bold yet carefully controlled colour, symbolic imagery and a refined sense of composition. Rather than illustrating familiar narratives, Constantine.. creates immersive worlds where the everyday and the mythological coexist, inviting viewers to interpret each work through their own experiences.
Constantine.. has exhibited internationally and was selected as Artist in Residence at Virgin Hotels Edinburgh in 2025. His work has attracted critical attention for its originality and evolving visual language, and continues to establish him as one of Scotland's most distinctive contemporary artists.
