Artists Abroad
Artists Abroad brings together a curated selection of works inspired by journeys across Europe and beyond, showcasing how travel continues to shape and enrich contemporary artistic practice.
From the vast landscapes of Patagonia captured by Arie Vardi to Tom Watt's atmospheric views of Venice, the exhibition presents a rich variety of locations through distinct artistic perspectives. Charles Randaak's paintings of Spain celebrate the warmth and character of the Mediterranean, while Peter Foyle's Tuscan scenes evoke the timeless beauty of the Italian countryside. YJ Han and Elizabeth Cameron offer their own interpretations of Venice, capturing the city's unique light, architecture, and enduring charm. Cameron's travels further extend to the Black Forest and the France, while Chris Taylor's paintings transport viewers to the Algarve coast, Costa Blanca, and bustling Parisian cafés. Completing the collection is a striking abstract response to Switzerland by Sarah Sidenius.
Together, these works explore the colours, atmosphere, culture, and character of destinations across the world. From dramatic mountain landscapes and sunlit coastlines to historic cities and vibrant café scenes, Artists Abroad celebrates the inspiration found in discovering new places and experiencing them through the eyes of an artist.
